My College Days

Entering into a new world of study,

Where I don't know anybody.

Many say the world is so small,

And it's true, I agree with all.

Now social media is the new trend,

And got a meet with a mutual friend.

A friend is a piece of luck,

Who'll make you move on when you are stuck.

I bought a new top of the red shade,

The excitement in my mind never fade.

All got settled in my way,

And it's my college 1st day.

All were different and new,

And I spoke with just a few.

Starting days were so hard,

After the fourth month, I found my squad.

So many papers were used,

And I literally got confused.

After the semester I was free,

And my friendship started growing like a tree.

Challenges are there in the path I take,

It all lies in the plan I make.

I studied even in my van,

Myself I told, “I will and I can”.

In all breaks to the canteen, I run,

Just to have a piece of bun.

It was The Annual Day,

And I participated in a street play.

My favourite sport is cricket,

I met Raina and that feel was legit. 

All days we had a good time,

And our favourite is lunchtime.

All were friends and enemies were none,

That's all we need to have fun.

It's the day when I and my teacher fought,

And one thing happened out of my thought.

Suddenly came quarantine,

Which changed all our routine.

And it's because of the corona,

Now the trend is aurora.

We all are stuck in a pandemic,

And if we think about our future it makes us panic. 

It's a time to break the chain, 

To feel the happy rain.

Everyone should wear a mask,

Being into new normal is our biggest task. 

Let's all join hands,

To celebrate the victory dance.
