My Dad

My Dad

I saw a chocolate at the store,

I wanted it, just wanted it.

Dad said you can have it,

But mom said not one more.

But I wanted it and wanted it.

Sad and feeling very bad,

I started to walk towards my home.

I held the hands of my darling dad

And went sobbing to my home.

In the corner, I went and sat,

Going mad, thinking of that.

Why couldn’t mom let me take

Just that chocolate which she can’t make?

Then came my dad in front of me

And kept a bag beside me.

I looked at the bag,

Then into the bag,

I found that chocolate in that bag.
