My Heart Yearns ..

This morning while flipping through the pages of my passport,

I felt this urge of wanting to travel the world to be true,

I started to think of all the places I wanted to visit,

I wasn’t surprised to see that there were quite a few!!

Maybe we should go to Paris first I thought, 

“It’s the most romantic city in the world “they say,

Longing to see the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame,

And walking down the beautiful streets during the day!!

How can we not to go London I said to myself,

“The best city in the world “everyone says,

Exploring The Big Ben, London bridge,Trafalgar Square and more,

Visiting Hyde park and shopping on Oxford street if I may ??

Hey I jumped , we are surely travelling to Newyork,

It’s known as the City that never sleeps,

I want to see the Statue of Liberty, Times Square and Central Park,

And party all night on those lively streets!! 

But what about my wish of playing in the snow ??

Maybe we can go to Switzerland I thought,

They say it’s so beautiful like living in a fairytale,

Another destination of my bucket list I would soon cross .

I realised that the world is made of so many beautiful places,

Someday, I will travel to these destinations and explore,

Quietly I packed the passport in with a bitter-sweet heart,

Suddnely my heart yearns for all this and more!!
