My Not So FAIR Poem.

With a blue mark I was born dark

My mother nursed but society cursed

I grew up hoping things may range

but to my surprise nothing changed

I sometimes wish white wasn't there

at least this way no one could know black was not fair

It was people who made me think I should remove my layers

If I had an option I would not have even care.
