You are such a vague 

My dear weightless shadow,

Sometimes you make me look thick

And how can I forget to thank you

For making me look narrow.

You are refreshing dark 

And sometimes fateful gray, 

You are wedge-shaped 

And sometimes dappled. 

I do have a lot to

Complaint about you.

You are definitely 

Far more supple than me,

Even if for some fleeting moments 

You stay with me.

Undoubtedly you are grotesque 

Still, I love you. 

You have never been portentous 

But always mysterious. 

Yes I become extremely stubborn 

And sometimes a lot belligerent, 

Still, you never leave me 

And been always there as my 

Perpetual friend. 

Whatever I eat, you eat them too 

You are the witness of everything

That I do.

You are really beguiling 

My dear shadow, 

Thank you for being with me

Be it in happiness or in great sorrow.
