Mystic Reverie

I see those waves,

But I feel something too.

Something eerie,

An eerie presence,

Urging me to leave this place,

But there's a plea in it,

Asking me to stay and fight.

Who should I listen to?

That ember glow,

It evokes something in me.

I looked at the purple hues shading the sky.

Are they in on it too?

I don't know.

It feels like I am in a cobweb,

Trying to find a way.

LIAR!

Who is it?

The sky rumbled,

The rain tattered,

And I lost my footing,

Falling down into the depths of the abyss.

Perhaps I'll end up being someone forgotten,

And my story will never be known.

The restless sky and the purple hues.
