New Year

Once again, it's that time of the year

When we set our annual goal,

With no regard to the one, we set last year,

Without any discipline or control.

But the atmosphere is lively as always,

I feel like I can accomplish anything,

If only I set my mind to it

And remember to give it my everything.

I'll do my best to discipline myself,

I'll do my best to succeed,

But, if I can't do it again,

I'll do it next year, guaranteed.
