Tragedy

No One?!

No One?!

I want to meet my Son who is rested in Wilson Garden, Bangalore,

I did not see him for over a year & more,

His Godly-resting place

 must be stacked with dust,

must be covered with withered leaves or the broken branches of the trees,

or

anthills in colonies,

I surmise,

No one even asked him,

How he is,

No one sang a lullaby for him,

No one even offered him some chocolates, or

had laden his resting place with even some wild-flowers,

No one thinks, he might feel parched

in the scorching sun of May,

or he could feel a chill, in

December's chilly nights,

No one, No one!!!!

No one aired him even with a broad dried leaf,

No one puts a blanket around him in the cold chills,

No one gives him an umbrella during harsh rains,

No one even offers a little milk,

No one is there to clothe him,

No one is there to caress his hair to put him into a slumber...

No One...

Oh, he is already in a deep-deep slumber!!! 😔

But a mother's heart still thinks,

My Son is like all other living beings,

He wails for me, he waits for me,

He craves for my kisses & hugs,

His heart too pines for me...

But

I am a SELFISH soul;

I care only about my life...

Not worthy of being a mother,

Thank You God that

You took away him from

 A selfish mother!!!!!

People call it lockdown,

I call it, an escapist mother's

frown,

To just waive off her duties...

She too follows

The cry of her town,

Which says,

"Now it's lockdown!!!"

Sorry, dear son,

I'm also among the "no ones!"
