Observe the little things,

A smile a good act brings,

A tiny speck of dust,

Bonds are held together with trust.

A delicate web of the spider,

Enclosing a timid fly, the hider.

Fresh pressed a lovely shirt,

Tending for a bird who is hurt.

Laughing and playing with children with joy,

A hot cup of coffee, a latte you enjoy.

Dew on a rosy petal of a flower,

A scrumptious meal you happily devour,

Walking bare feet on the sandy beach,

Everything that nature can teach,

The aroma of the candle leaving you perplexed,

A dog-eared book with printed text.

A flower preserved by someone rare,

Tending our garden with love and care!

Observe tiny aspects of your day,

Might thee stay forever or fade away?

Appreciate a thing or two,

A painted sky with a shade of blue,

Admire the sunset for nothing shall last,

Maybe tomorrow even you’ll be in the past.
