Occasions for celebrations

At a time when the world has taken a halt 

When half the world is lost but it’s not anyone’s fault

When  nights are dark but so are the days 

When as animals, we’ve had to change all our ways 

Let’s dance to the beat this recorder plays 

Glue a smile on our faces,  get through this phase 

Let’s fill our mouths with the sweets we made 

Laugh to the music, let the frowns fade 

Let’s promise support and honesty to those who we care 

Bring gifts and treats to brighten days elsewhere .

Let’s wish celebrations this day to all evil we see
