Omnipotent-

Yet to bloom, the little bud;

They sprinkle water, picking it out of the mud;

Transforming the infantile being into a lotus;

One that awes all with its resonant opus.

A canvas blank;

They smear hues, a failure of a painter manque;

The easel glistens;

Soaring high, ambitions.

Pages of a book unwritten;

With quills, the tomes thicken;

Futures penned;

A hand of aid they lend.

Parasols held out;

Sanctums of protection too many to count;

A warm chest, a shield;

They do not surrender to the tempest, do not yield.

Caressing a nestling unsteady;

Urging it till it's ready;

The beauty of the plumes now indisputable;

Grace, fluency irrefutable.

Omnipotent, absolute;

O Mentor, O Guide, we salute;

Our lighthouse, we're the ships adrift at bay;

Carry us towards the dawn... From the grey sea.. Away, away.
