ON THE WAY TO THE GREENS
ON THE WAY TO THE GREENS
To the park, we went,
From the start to the end,
What fun we had!!
And it was green like mad.
We saw moss on the walls,
And a tree with soccer balls,
And lichens staring at us,
Or wait, was that fungus?
Then was the red silk cotton tree,
Which was not at all silky,
But exactly the opposite,
‘Cause it had thorns on it.
Then were the fingers of the dead,
As a mushroom bed,
And the pinwheel mushrooms,
That sprung up on these monsoons.
To the park, we went,
From the start to the end,
What fun we had!!
And it was green like mad.
