Once In A Blue Moon
Once In A Blue Moon
Once in a Blue Moon
I get a boon
To witness the enchanting allure
Of a blue sky that is pure
As I see the flock of flying birds
I am draped by the magnificent clouds
The mesmerizing paradise churns
Twinkling stars that intoxicate my veins
The cobweb entangled in my brain
Has been cleverly sent to drain
The whole atmosphere has elevated my vibrant spirit
I cannot turn down the rendezvous with moonlight
The gentle breeze whispers to my ears
To enjoy the moment without fears
No clamour here to shatter my eardrums
I feel the urge to scribble down poems
The elixir of solitude trickle down my heart
It knows I share with it a good rapport
Oh, boy!
I beam with joy
The picturesque sky
Has given me a reason to enjoy
I can't describe this feeling in words
I never get this when I am lost in the herds
I do feel wistful to cease this journey
But the truth is fantasy cannot become reality
