Once Upon A Fairy Tale

October 24; the D day. I made a confession; the confession of my love. Post this day my life has ventured into a roller coaster ride.

Just like any other normal girl, I too fancied about my soulmate, the love of my life.

Well, let me tell you a secret. We girls, aka the much hyped emotional beings, intertwine all sorts of lovey dovey imaginations for our life. Our sanity, though, nudges us all the time to believe that our prince charming is merely a figment of our dreams.

With the passage of time, we tend to accept the reality and give up on the dream of our fairy tale love story.Lucky are the ones who get to live their fairy tale. Blessed am I, to be amongst them.

You came into my life as a stranger and now you’ve become a part of my life. The varied dimensions of my life interspersed around you. My desires, my dreams, my aspirations all linked to you. You being in my life makes me believe I belong with you. Now the Plato’s love poems or the epic love stories all seem to have gained in weight age both literally and logically.

I close my eyes, only to see the sawtooth spires of the skyline echoing with the hissing of the waves and my name engraved on sand. Though we are away, yet I bask in the very essence of your love every moment.

You can merely thrill me by kissing me on my forehead, rather just by staring in my eyes. Your presence instills faith in me.

I wrote this just for your sake. But somehow you’ve given me a chance to find freedom at the bottom of the inkwell, at the tip of a quill.

Being with you has given me memories which shall last a lifetime.
