Parting Pain
Parting Pain
I rankle the day you drifted away from me
O' death is far kinder and dearer than dearth
With a sneer and scoff you went away
And left me lonely on the vast earth
Few were the words to you I spoke
For I was lost in deep affliction of segregation
I wept and wept but solace there was none
Sure that day it wasn't my dawn that emerged
But sure dear, my dawn will enter at your coming!
