We cannot erase our past.

It's over and it's complete.

No way to fix time

All those days are gone.

No amount of color

Painting with bright colors

Can change the way things happen.

No way to make it true.

Days of regret

No need to get involved

In the purple haze of memory

Or caught in the unraveling

(Or, hopefully we can)

Things that didn't go their way

That we want them.

The future is unwritten

No way to see us,

Yesterday's things,

For you or for me!

Now what is attainable,

Just a moment to share here.

The future comes so quickly -

Unseen but waiting there.

Seize the present moments.

Catch up we can all include!

Our future is elusive.

Our past we cannot chain!
