Patriotism

It is God’s duty to forgive the enemies,

But it’s our duty to convene a meeting between the two,

If death strikes before I prove my blood, I promise, I will kill death.

Either I will come back after hoisting the Tricolor,

Or I will come back wrapped in it,

But I’ll be back for sure,

Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it,

It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.

The enemies are only 50 yards from us,

We are heavily outnumbered,

We are under devastating fire,

We fight to win and win with a knockout,

Because there are no runners up in war.

I shall not withdraw an inch but,

I will fight to our last man and our last round,

Some goals are so worthy,

It’s glorious even to fail.

What is a lifetime adventure for you is a daily routine for us,

Duty, honour, country- Those three hallowed words reverently dictate,

What you ought to be,

What you can be,

What you will be.

In the face of impossible odds,

People who love this country can change it.
