Perpetual Darkness
Perpetual Darkness
As the dark longs to meet the light
Involves itself in an undefined plight
Plight that blurs the sight
Silence couldn’t be more quiet
Dullness gradually overtakes
Once luminous, now it loses its stake
The darkness now overshadows the bright
An eclipse that becomes a never-ending night
What if the light, what if it is all gone?
Leaves you with all bad, in the dark to moan..
What if the bad, what if it outgrows?
The faith if remains withstand throughout your lows
But remember, the light will spark and outshine,
As it gains on the perpetual darkness, now the dark it finally outlines..
