Petrichor

And then, it rained again

Which helped me to wash away my pain!!

It took me to the old golden age

I felt like someone set me free from a cage!!

I came out from four walls

I didn't know how many times  did I miss the calls!!

I was so indulged in the moment,

That nothing seems me more urgent!!

And the cozy day was showering love on me,

I enjoyed a lot that I realized pain in my left knee!!

And then, the count of droplets  started decreasing,

The moment that brought lot of joy was so pleasing!!

It was not enough, I wanted some more,

Those roads, street dogs and petrichor!!
