Remorse
Remorse
And after leaving, you knew there's no return,
Yet you started walking,
Bidding goodbye to the past,
The past that was chaining you up,
Making your soul stinky and heart rusty,
You knew it's better to control your emotions,
Which always tries to destroy you,
The love which only grows in your heart,
It's better to stop watering it,
And you also knew once you're out of it,
You'll be all yourself,
Free to write all the sadness into happy words,
Making your readers bleed with pain,
You did take the right decision to leave the toxicity,
Which used to inject you with self-doubt,
And now whenever you'll peek into your own eyes,
You'll find a kind of satisfaction,
Not some kind of remorse.
