Revisit
Revisit
In the morning air that smells of a mix of perfumes,
Under the sunlight that befalls in traces.
I revisit the times I have inhaled whiffs of morning air,
standing next to you, with sunlight falling on our faces.
In the emptiness of laughter and deepened conversations,
In the deafening rustling of silence.
I revisit your words, and it's strange despite of all the melancholy,
How I can still hear your voice in a crowd of thousands.
In the arms of a day laden with work,
In the grip of a night streaked with conversations.
I revisit the days I have spent entangled in your thoughts,
The nights that i have spent in your adoration.
Believe it or not but in every move I make
I revisit the journey of our destinies, that you have rendered as being fake.
