Rise, Rise, Rise Again!
Rise, Rise, Rise Again!
Trees that were planted
In our great-grandfathers' time
Seeing them fall
Felt like biting into a sour lime.
Winds hurtled them
Here and there
Each gust of wind
Felt as strong as a bear.
Cars were overturned
Huts were blown away
What else can we say
Except that it was a black day.
Twelve lives were lost
What a terrible hurt!
Whether it'll happen again
Is completely clouded by mist.
How can we fix this?
This horrific tragedy?
What can we do?
It'll probably come to us gradually.
Wait! There's an idea!
Deforestation is a terrible crime
Why not change that?
This is the right time!
"Reforestation" is a blessing
For nature and man
And nature depends on us for it
Because man just CAN!
