Sea Waves

A wave from the sea,

Comes rushing to me,

Then comes another, and the next.

To play, greet and say hello!

It is so enlightening to glimpse

reflections of Sun and moon in them!

Waves playing hide and seek

with each other perennially,

and in motion relentlessly,

going on but confused at times!

depicting designs of myriad thoughts,

that lie dormant in our minds.

     

Alas! Only if we were as resilient,

And could imitate their fervor!

Could be as natural and innocent!

 “Try, try you can do it...”

says the sea wave with a smile,

and then runs away from me!
