Second Thoughts
Second Thoughts
Going through the lanes of past
My mind roars aghast
Asks me what have you done
Why were you so unfair
To your own soul
Why did you choose the wrong path
Can't it be much simpler
You might have been stronger
But the heart shuts the mind up
It joyfully turns up
No, this had to happen
The lowly spirits had to dampen
The path is right
The choices were difficult
No matter what you would choose
You will never lose
You are the Phoenix
You had to rise
To the world
You might be a surprise
But you were walking righteously
Following your path religiously
You chose me over brain
How can it all go in vain
The matters of the heart always win
Unconditional love is not a sin
You looked for love in the wrong places
It was your mistake
Now you have found god
And You are fully awake
You could not have done better
Everything was written before O dear
Go-getter
Falling and rising are a part of life
Enjoy the process before you strife
You will pass through the storm
One by one you will break the norm
The fight is not between you and others
It is the victory of all from the dark shudders
Be patient as you lead the way
Choose hope over the dismay
Be fragile when you need to be
Be hard on pursuing what you want to be
Cry, laugh, dance and rejoice
Listen to your strongest inner voice
