Spring day

I was walking down the lane, 

I remember it was a fine spring day. 

The wind was blowing, 

As the leaves of the tree shed.

I looked up, 

Only to see cherry blossoms all ahead. 

Slow and steady footsteps 

The bridge was beautiful

Not giving a chance to be upset. 

The calmness of the nature, 

And surrounding filled with giggles. 

Kids were roaming around

Holding hands together. 

Down the bridge was a river, 

The flowing of water, 

Was like a rhythm.

Settling of mind, 

and calmness was all around. 

Even the quietness 

Was making a kind of sound.

I started to feel, 

How is it like to live in the present. 

That's how I spent, 

That one fine spring day
