spring

The birds began to sing 

On the arrival of spring,

As they flew from tree to tree 

Towards their nest to be. 

The flowers had visitors many,

As the bees collected honey. 

Upteen were the butterflies 

That came with the dragonflies. 

Spring with it's summer showers 

Promised us the summer showers,

That gave life to earth 

From where colours sprung forth.
