Spring
Spring
Every color under the sun,
I saw it there amongst the fun.
Tall wheels and a candy streak,
And chilled soda bottles with a leak.
Bright teacups with their slow spin,
And pink floss stuck to the chin.
Food and drink, music and light,
No notion of sleep even late at night.
Faces split wide in exuberant grins,
Joyous children jump high and spin.
Ice cream and happiness I saw,
And all the ice of winter was thawed.
