Stars

When I look up to the stars,

I wish to reach them 

Each at the same time in jeweled cars.

When they glitter in the sky,

I don't want to leave them behind saying, "Goodbye.

They seem to swing 

Round the earth,

And I wonder whence

They took their birth.

I love to stay awake

Part of dark nights,

To watch and observe them

And their twinkling lights.

I thought why they were so shining,

Then I found in the mist of darkness

They were smiling.

Compared to the Moon 

They are so tiny,

But their identity 

Is twinkling and shiny.

I can't count all the stars,

Because they are so far.

I can't see them in the day,

But in the night dark twinkling,

And twinkling they seem to say

Twinkle like us and don't turn away...
