It was the first day of the new year..

Festivities everywhere...

Some played loud music, some went for a picnic, some kept on chattering as if this was their last day on earth!

While quite a few long faced, grumpy office goers were seen going to office with a heavy heart..

The office did not think the first day of the New Year is anything but to celebrate!!

I on the other hand, took a long stroll on our terrace,

After quite a long time..

The defence aerodrome that was just opposite to our beautiful house stared steeply at me..

As if it tried to tell me..

"Girl, don't you be like me, or dare to!"

I prefer myself calling selectively social by nature..

Mostly a Loner, staying away from people.

Some find this as an attitude problem

While others opine this might be my self-defense mechanism to hide any inner trauma from the outside world!

I was too economical with my words as always,

Was wishing my near ones a happy new year mostly through texts

And suddenly a call comes from a private number....tringgg..goes the cell phone..

A nervous me took the call..

Hello?

Hello Donasona, wish you a Happy new year!

RR it was! My mentor whom I only knew on a virtual platform but never at all saw in person!

Well, I was never really a so called fan or ceiling fan of his, but rather his anti government speeches were thought provoking

Provoked the masses to the point to think rather than acting mindlessly with the herd mentality.

The writer unusually wanted to briefly catch up with me

Since our mental energetic field so called connected well.

As thought, such was the action too.

Without a single plan both the arrogant forties kid and the otherwise happy go lucky mad poet turns up to meet

No destination yet in mind as to where do we meet!

Both turned up as decided at a certain busy point.

The lady was in her jeans, tshirt, skull cap, goggles and mask, throwing an impression as if 'Stay off people, I don't want to be seen or heard!'

The adorable yet mad genius poer came forth... the crowd mobbed him as a natural fact.

The lady scrupulously took out her once admired mentor to a quiet place only to be suddenly disappearing together near a water body for a perfect chitchat.

Finally they reached a temple by a water body too in the cold chilly late evening

The poet started meditating there like all others but the chitchat the lady had in mind never happened.

Meditation took the meditating mad poet to a different realm from reality altogether only to be suddenly disturbed by the over energetic lady with a volley of questions thrown to him...

"Hey, why are you so very quiet while meditating? Ain't you suffocating?"

The poet knew he has to control his wrath, but every person is not a born Naren or Vivekananda to handle situations too smoothly, calmly!

No words...both came out out the temple,

Walking in unknown directions, rather a clear discontent in mind,

"How on earth can this lady play a shady game with me, all masked, no human emotions!"

The poet fumed on the roadside, but with smiling selfies still whenever his fans came and mobbed him.

Then came the cab...

It was getting late, the lady needed to go home..

Both went for their respective directions, homebound....

But the poet invited the lady home for a cup of tea.

The lady refused but later agreed.

In dual thoughts, the lady went ahead.

The home was cozy,

The mother of the poet was someone too adorable indeed.

Some lady late thar night in winter was passionately doing her reward..

Her voice sounded poignant yet hauntingly melodious.

No words, no tea or coffee offered

But there goes the fuming anger that was brewing relentlessly like a hot coffee..

From the time the poet was unable to decipher his subject to research, the weird lady!

He offered her his own autographed books along with a tshirt...

Denying to drop off home when asked

A dash of rude calamity overtook the initial jovial happy go lucky personality in the poet.

Rude, disconnected, sans any emotions is the weird girl whom I thought I can connect well with, thought the poet.

The girl this time without going to a single argument or justification, went ahead and let the poet just as he wanted to jump into any conclusions about her...

Making room as if to say, if you feel, two plus two makes five, so be it.

The cab came for the lady's pick up..

It was getting darker by the night, the cold breeze whispered,

"Girl, lessons are lessons, but why did you have to put up with a stray dog kicked out after invited treatment?"

The girl took the cab, stretched her hand to shake hands with her mentor...

The mentor stayed aloof, refusing to shake hands, rather exchanging of energies!!!

The cab driver asked, "Sir are you not coming?"

It was late at eleven that cold windy night..

The poet indicated to the driver, "Drop her off", as if "Drop her whereever on earth you feel like throwing the trash".

The cab moved fast..

Very very fast...

Empty cold roads..

The lady wondered...

Starstruck night it was..

Meeting the mentor it too was..

But all that mattered was...

There was dust in the wind...

The behaviour, the vibes, the ego, the wrath.... all some day will vanish

As the dust in the winds..

Star struck she really is today..

For stars too fall on earth once in a while!!!
