Still waters
Still waters
I stood at the edge of the blue lake
Surrounded by a range of mountains
Still waters, confident none could harm the environment
Unlike the reindeer, knowing death is imminent
Starting at the hole in the rifle held
By a poacher out to hunt for prey
The breeze failed to stir any ripples
How could it, the lake was in deep meditation?
