Stray Dogs

In my town there reside,

Pack of stray dogs,

In every street and lane!

They all are bosses of

Their own territories!

They are extreme territorial!

They would chase even a puppy,

If that trespasser is

Passing in a car!

Not only that, then after,

They would chaise every car

For couple of days!

Or by mistake if

A small puppy type dog trespasses,

They all attack as hounds

Attack on a rabbit!

But if that stranger is

Really a hound,

Soon they all turn into underdogs!

And start to retreat by lowering

Their tails down!

But continue to oppose orally

By keeping safe distance!

But in a particular season

In a year,

Every dog and bitch

Forget all boundaries and barriers!

Dog knows-

I mean god knows why!
