Strength-Breaking Free

What is a strength? Who is strong? Multiple questions in my mind.

Is it mental or is it physical? O good lord, when will I find.

Some people hurt and cause you pain making tears run through your eyes.

Makes me wonder why I feel, reflect or cry? O god, why they control my life.

Is it my weakness, or is it my expectation; why I want people to make me smile?

Can't I just be my own friend and learn to give myself some joy?

Rather than letting others hurt, people who always treat you like a toy?

The decision is made and I am done with solitude and self-pity.

High time to take a stand for myself and submerge myself in some gaity.

I am free, I am beautiful, I have new plans; I am free of can'ts and full of cans.

No one can make me sad or stressed because I have moved to new lanes.

It is me, my dreams that matter now; I'll no longer carry old stains.

You can't let me down without my consent, or expect me to always bent.

People, I have moved on, so should you; I am my new best friend.

I have learn to kiss air and sing with flowers; I have found my joy, I have found my power.

Strength is my outlook, its my attitude; Strength is in love, in not caring who is rude.

Oh dear strength, you were always there, trying to break shackles, trying to dare.

I'll keep you with me and not let you go; you are mine, I'll nourish you and will see you grow.
