Sunset Of Life
Sunset Of Life
Paint me a brighter blue sky
The grayness steeps into my soul
Like coffee strongly brewed
Between two banyan trees
In a hammock, I swing
As day ages, shadows I see
The day is done paint hasn't dried
I can hear the Robin's sweet cry
Depressed remains, however much I try
Waves crashing on the shores
No more ignites me to think like before
Into a bottomless pitfall more and more
Colors long ran into each other
In the tumble wash of my life
Leaving me with only gray colors
So paint me a brighter blue sky
To revive this exhausted mind
Spend last days without any 'why's.
