Sweet Goodbye

We are content with Goodbyes,

_a bittersweet, yet gentle sigh,

For in parting, there's a quiet grace,

_a space for memories to fill in place

At the end of one chapter, at the start of the next,

A farewell whispered to a perplexed heart,

But in the letting go, there's a sense of release,

A chance for the soul to find its peace.

Goodbye, a word of both joy and sorrow,

A bridge to new horizons, _a promise of tomorrow,

_embrace parting with a grateful sigh,

For in every goodbye, there's a chance to fly.

In history, we have written several bitter-and-sweet narratives 

For memories to adore the pain of the past in its accordance.

We will never apologize for all the memories that we share.

We will never apologize for starting our days with good mornings 

_and ending them with goodbyes.
