Her smile,

Out from a mile

Shying looks, but

From her palace, slum hut

 

Eyes couldn't justify,

The whole universe, aside

A glance of her

Beautiful face, pretty smile

 

Her eyes shouting loud

Our ears couldn't hear

Fading in prayers

Those tears of years

 

Sorrow of yours

But I felt tears of mine

Crying loud, no tears

Habitual, no wears

 

Counting days, counting moments

Pushing off, those haunting events

Settled in, a different world

Far away from our world

 

Happy with minimum

Happiness just mum

Caring nothing, but

Pleasure, dancing within

 

Couldn't foresee through

To ask, to ask self

Realized, a bit late

There lie answers, beneath myself

 

Story of pain, whom to say

Promises and truth just fading away

Trying hard to make a stand

With nothing to withstand

 

Repeating the same pain

Oh Jesus, all in vain

Candles crying for years

With those tears of years

 

Have much wealth

But still feeling that thirst

Anger in anger

Am I losing my strength

 

Guilty about their state

Feelings unfelt, just hate

No place, even as a corpse

Humanity, Just a course

 

Waving goodbye

Her smile, a hope

Her bravery, no nope
