That Binary Life
That Binary Life
Presence of something is the absence of other,
Why do we compare, why are we bothered,
In pursuit of happiness we feel the pain,
Sometimes we use our heart and sometimes our brain.
Failure being the stepping stone to success,
Storms make you feel the calm,
Darkness is meant to appreciate light,
For a day is gloomy and the other bright.
No one would want darkness over light,
Nor the storms before the calm,
Why would anyone desire failure,
Why would anyone want to feel the pain.
A day of darkness and a day of light,
A breeze of calm after a stormy night,
Isn't this what we eventually desire,
For life’s a song of ice and fire.
