That Day!

              

You engulfed the bright sunny day with the darkness that day.

You made the angels of heaven quiver that day.

 You took a bath in tears,

You relished everyone's bawl that day.

Devastation, death and dreadfulness-these glimmered in smidgen into colossal. How you enjoyed the lights change? 

How about the congenial shadows of the hills you swallowed that day?

The clamour outside was yet heard low in the ears of God. 

Everyone was trying to call her with her miracle, by incantation, but little did they know that they might meet her that day. 

The death whispered in the crowd of fears,"It hath what it takes."

"I shan't die today," cried every voice with eyes full of delusion and heart full of faith that day.

The scars still lie everywhere, the cracked souls, the cracked lives, the cracked homes, the cracked love, the cracked earth.

But all of us, we wander and wonder, thinking and practising, the prevalence of life even in the depth of fears and pain.
