The Battle Of The Doomed
The Battle Of The Doomed
The swords graced the war,
The battle of the doomed,
They swayed with the arrows that flew across the moon.
The cries of pain, sounds of victory;
all the same with no humanity.
There was none but one, waiting to be slayed,
Her eyes were shut with cries that went vain.
As I raised my sword for the final blow,
Something in me stirred,
I stood with a merciful glow.
It had ended, finally done.
I didn't wanna fight, that I had learnt.
My battle was done,
The battle of the doomed.
It wasn't worth for what it cost
In the end we were doomed and lost.
