The beaming Sun awaits its break

The heated winds need 

a cool down session to go on.

The yearning river for its fill.

And fields crying for its long awaited dose.

The burning forests needs to be 

extinguished

And humanity, needs a break

from the heat.

Our patience has borne fruit.

And I suppose a new journey must begin-

 The journey of healing.

Cure that cures it all has arrived.

Tip!... Tip!... Tip!...

Clouds patching up the skies,

allowing the sun to take its leave,

getting heavy with a billion drops.

YAAY! It now released.

The silent drops, crawling into the arid land

spraying the earthy perfume.

The seeds jumping all about

the rain gave it life.

The icy water showers down,

WHOA! Numbing the heat waves

it brings down the temperature.

Oh what a relief !

The sweaty people hanging at the gates of the trains

have a peaceful look as the rain slides down their faces.

The exhausted kids from the match

just to be soaking under the rain.

And every households' kitchen filled

with the sizzling oils.

No arguments, no complains

the societies sit together enjoying the rain.

The winds are filled with the cold waters

Blowing relief into the atmosphere.

The rivers giggling hard from 

the tickling of the rain.

The forest heaving a sigh of relief 

as they are sprayed with the elixir of life.

And animals dancing in the rain

getting washed under the shower.

The world's sorrows and pains are 

being washed off, after a year's wait.

The rains have blessed us again by

arriving at our doorsteps.

Every person coming together

for a shot full of happiness.

Just a few days and the world

is already coming together.

To heal the Earth with a pat of 

love, joy and peace.

The journey of healing has just begun

blessing us this gift of life.
