The Cat

There was a cat,

Which chased around a little fat-rat,

It broke my beloved bat,

Though for my mum, it was a pet,

It was always naughty,

When I came near it gave me a look which was so haughty,

One day it became angry and scratched me at my face,

I ran behind it in a fast pace,

So I could get revenge with hitting it with a mace,

I did it for days,

Until it ran away.
