Tanya was a cheerful girl...

With her joyful demeanor, she could cheer the world! 

She always saw a tree for every polluting chimney... 

She could hear birds chirping from the cacophony of the city...

But could anyone sense sorrow in her ever gleeful style? 

Did anyone notice the river of tears, being cloaked by her deceptive smile? 

Her life was perfect to the human eye...

Always "hellos" and never "goodbyes"...

Her career flying high, 

As an air hostess in international skies... 

Her little brother, her ever present fan! 

Cheerfully heeding, all his sister's childish demands... 

But did anyone notice the heart breaking in her chest? 

Did anyone suspect any mischief or guile? 

Did anyone hear the endless crying... 

Hidden behind her deceptive smile? 

"Little brother, stay happy and hold yourself true... 

Wake up every day and see the world brand new! 

The human eye is a deceiver...

Don't ever let it deceive you... 

Because even if you cannot see me, I'll always be with you... "

Her parting words left as seeds on fertile ground... 

The last time I heard my sister's sweet sound... 

Hear me all who hide their pain! 

Keeping sorrows within is ALWAYS in vain... 

Lend me your voice and speak out your fears! 

Tell me what brings your eyes to tears...

I couldn't save the one person, who'll always hold dear... 

But to you who suffers alone, I'll give you my ears...
