The Everlasting pain

Since then....

A small piece of me dies everyday...

My days are tinted with twitchiness...

While the nights are only nightmares.

In fragments and fractions I fall apart...

Every single day, my soul departs..

My parents said 'He is your uncle'...

In reality, he was a dunkle.

They felt I was safe with him...

As they haven't seen the other face of him.

I hear his footsteps coming towards me...

Like the first time he did catch me up...

I was playing with the doll in the toy shed...

When he carried me all the way to the bed.

He ripped off my doll's dress...

So he did to my dress.

I lay helpless like my doll...

When he did that nasty troll.

Fought, yelled, cried...

Every other thing I tried.

No mercy did he show...

No concern he had.

He seemed to be savage like a beast...

To him I was just a feast.

That was not the only awful day...

As it continued day after day.

I could never utter a single word...

Nor revolt against it.

As he threatened me to kill Mum and Dad.

Umpteen times I tried to inform...

But he kept spying on.

I got a chance one day...

And divulged the dark secret kept since many days.

He went behind the bars...

Leaving my existence full of scars.

That was the end of the tragic episodes I thought...

The monster had gone...

The spells have ended.

BUT......

The pain left me battered...

My soul got tattered...

Years have passed...

Still the pain lurks in my heart.

STILL....
