The Girl In The Pink
The Girl In The Pink
Have you ever seen,
Kids playing in a lavish green park?
Crimson carnations swaying,
And swings singing ;
“The street dogs eagerly waiting
for kids to arrive”
The sweet little girl
in pink is their favourite child!
“She flips a disc away
And they lilt;
Not to get a delicacy
But because they adore
The girl’s laughter
When she sees them rolling
crawling”
The butterfly flies sometimes in north,
At times in south,
The girl in the pink
Calls her to sit on her wrist,
The shimmering eyes
Always convinced the butterfly,
She kisses her palm and flies too,
Bring all her friends
And they all danced enraptured.
One day, the street dogs
The singing swings, swaying flowers
Dancing butterflies were
All silent, waiting for their favourite child.
The breeze brought a message
And thunderstorm struck
Heavy showers from the sky
Gave few clues of
Ruthless news;
The girl in the pink
Lying on a not familiar bed;
Was looking outside,
To the crescent moon,
From a huge arched window,
She wanted to talk,
She wanted to smile,
She wanted to ride,
On her father’s back
She wanted to make
A cup of tea with her mother
But
All she was asked
To take somnolent drugs.
She was blue,
She was in ineffable pain,
Inexorable monster, rampant dive
Meandering into the
Networks of cells
No mercy, no care for the innocent
You took her happy childhood
Why you run so fast?
Can’t you just walk away from her life!
From everybody’s life!
You are unpredictable
You are a heartless creature
To, God, I ask you for her relief
Muma- I will play with
Tom, shaggy, buzo
Don’t you worry
Dady- look into my eyes
And please don’t cry
I will learn bicycle from you
the next summer, alright!
The girl in the pink
is courageous and ebullient
She had the strength to heel
The pain of her parents
Side by side
Today, she is 16
And plays with her dearest
friends in the same
Fragrant green park
With dainty rainbow flowers!
