The Glory Of Her Scars

The Glory Of Her Scars

2 mins
119

I met a girl in the sunlight,

She said I'm alone but I was stunned by how fast her thoughts, Started Encircling her.

There were scars on her body

She was trying to conceal.

By covering them she wanted to heal.

I wish she could see the sunlight shining through her scars like a white light passes throw a prism.

I was trying to see the scars on her body, But I could only see diamonds studded on her skin.

She said it looks scary!

But only I could see dragons

Guarding her past glories within.

I knew she was a warrior

Her scars roaring

From her skin.

One by one she started exhibiting

Her wounds oozing stories of her past.

I started wailing in her lap

But she was the one sitting still

Embracing it.

Her diamond wounds

sparkling throw her reflection.

She has risen like Athena from the chambers of a war cry.

Her courage is her spear

That tells stories of chevalier.

If this is what people call scars!

I'm ready to bow down to her

To rise in her imperfections.

The glory of her scars
