The Goddess In Pink
The Goddess In Pink
Hopping through the nine days
The conch shells and drums played
Following here are multiple ways
The devotees were elated.
The entire ritual bubbles around,
The lady figure who keeps so many bound,
The country which worships her the most
Is where a woman is questioned till roasted.
Her figure is an embodiment,
Of courage and strength
For every woman, she sets an example
To let her anger destroy the evil
At the stake of burning the leaves of maple.
Why is it that only we females,
Responsible for any mishap and derail,
For those who worship the goddess
On one hand,
Are those who don’t permit women
To sail on the other.
