The Grave Skirmish

The Grave Skirmish

Left out skins and broken bones,

Are burried deep inside.

No ears to hear my painful groans,

No one to take my side.

They ripped my flesh and broke my spine,

They chopped my dangling tongue.

They drenched my soul in lousy wine,

And carried my bod along.

They were four and all so crude,

They forced themselves on me.

Their voices banged me deep and rude,

Beneath the banyan tree.

My agony made me tremble there,

Quiver in breathless pain.

No hand I found to hold my share,

My voice was choked in vain.

I fought with all my guts and might,

Till the final stage.

My worthy soul then left the fight,

And left this mortal cage.

Into the world of light and peace,

I strolled with a bodless soul.

The globe of darkness, rotten leas,

Can never be my goal.

The devilish ones still stride on earth,

Fearless and so bold.

They hurl out filth to humane birth,

With a blood that's sick and cold.

I need thy voices, need thy hand,

To help my sisters down.

The wave of sickness wrapped our land,

Filled our holy town.

Hang the brutes or stab them deep,

Let them feel the pain.

Let no one in dream or sleep,

Dare to repeat again.
