For a moment lost in translation,
The heart goes into depression
As meaningless words struggle to make an impression.
The words that fall into empty spaces
Between you and I
Are as empty as my courage and your lies.
The words crawl back into my mouth
Covered in filth, looking uncouth.
And the journey begins again
Of one that is filled with great pain.
And as they linger about in contemplation,
I am afraid
If they will ever reach their destination.
But I know it in my heart
That the journey is more important than the end or the start.
And so they wash off the stain
And embark again
On the greatest journey, mankind has ever taken
