The Inevitable

The Inevitable

You know it's funny how two people can bond over two sad stories. It's like the sorrow acts like an invisible magnet that subconsciously pulls two separate individuals from different walks of life onto one page. Suddenly, two very different worlds, otherwise unrelated worlds stand parallel to each other, side by side, as equals.

They not only co-exist but mange to support one another. They thrive and survive hand in hand, not like parasites but in a perfect symbiotic relationship. In short, a perfectly harmonic alliance between two parties that otherwise would never have even been able to even see eye-to-eye.

But like all perfect marriage, this sweet bond will too shatter leaving a gaping hole.

You see, like in any co-existence, there occurs a loss of synchronicity.

One moves faster than the other. One is stronger. One is more efficient. One is simply better than the other.

It's inevitable.

The inflicted wounds heal and a sanctuary is no longer needed by the fitter.

After all, this world is all about the survival of the fittest.

Rejuvenated, one no longer feels the need for symbiosis.

The once, perfectly symbiotic harmony now turns into an unwanted paresis. The shackles need to be broken before they rust and damage one's skin.

But alas, what happens to the other?

The second is naturally left behind. They were of course, from different walks, from contrasting backgrounds and have conflicting futures. Naturally, they must walk different paths moving later.

 And the past?

The past is definitely history.

Move on!

What they were was temporary and the freedom from it, inevitable.

The strong simply need impermanent support, which the weak tend to provide. They enduring move on, the fragile get left behind.

That is true and simply inevitable.
