The Last Goodbye
The Last Goodbye
Remember that year?
When we were impatient to greet the good day
Waiting for the distance to end
To the Divine, how much we used to pray
Slowly things got bad
And me, even worse
My health did not support me
And my mental health got adverse
We tried to fix things many times
Hoping for a positive result
But you kept ignoring me
Thinking that you were an adult
Sometimes you treat me as your everything
And sometimes, as a stranger
I do not know your feelings
But your emotions are definitely a danger
You just saw my flaws
And judging me by my actions
Me being foolish, saw your imperfections
But still accepted your reflections
You will be missed
And tears will shed
Memories will run over
Flowing through my head
This may serve as my last goodbye
Thanks to you; I smiled, I cried
But it's about time we part ways
I hope time will fly like earlier it flied
My words and I bid adieu...
