The Life's Purpose
The Life's Purpose
I was struggling in the dark,
Under confinement for hours.
Restricted I lay,
Continued to wrestle against pain.
All around, I saw myself locked in a silky web
Comforting envelope, as it may appear
I suffered immensely inside in pain.
I suffered inside quietly in pain.
Hoping for that one bright day.
The cocoon shall disappear;
And I will be given a gift for my patience and pain.
The presence of colorful and radiant wings,
Which will fly me up to the sky and the flowers
Ecstatically, make me feel like a king.
So, I suffered inside quietly in pain.
The sun brought me a day,
I was freed of everything that had me caged.
My colorful wings flapped together all along their way.
Wherever I flew, I instilled joy in every minuscule.
Swirling all around the magnificent flowers
Feeding on their nectar, happily living moment of my existence.
I carried their pollen to everywhere I sat
creating a new life, assisting nature in their role
A duty bestowed upon me by creation.
A purpose I was meant to serve.
By only going through this pain, meant to bear.
